Marylee Strange serves as the Controller for Rose Rock Development Partners, a commercial real estate development firm with nine employees and offices in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Rose Rock has acquired, redeveloped, or developed 500,000 square feet of commercial real estate assets with a market value in excess of $265MM and a pipeline of $400MM under construction or in pre-development.
She also serves as Vice President of Marketing for Rose Rock Real Estate Advisors, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm.
Prior to co-founding Rose Rock with her husband, Tim Strange, Marylee was the CFO of William T. Strange & Associates Commercial Real Estate. As an owner/general partner/sponsor she has been involved in more than $150MM in commercial real estate assets acquired or developed.
Before William T. Strange & Associates, Marylee enjoyed a 30-year career as an information technology programmer, project manager, department manager, and consultant.
She is past president of the Tri Delta Alumnae Association for Oklahoma City and has been the long-standing President of the Tri Delta Housing Corporation for the University of Oklahoma. She has been the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Tri Delta Chapter of the University of Oklahoma and the Outstanding Alumna of the Panhellenic Association of Oklahoma City. As an undergraduate at the University of Oklahoma she received the “Sarah Ida Shaw” award for the outstanding Tri Delta undergraduate.
Marylee is the proud mother of two Tri Delta daughters, both graduates of the University of Oklahoma, and the proud grandmother of four grandchildren. She is an active member of Crossings Community Church.
Tim Strange serves as Chairman of Rose Rock Development Partners, a full-service commercial real estate development firm with offices in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Rose Rock has acquired, redeveloped, or developed 500,000 square feet of commercial real estate with a market value of more than $250MM, and currently carries a $400MM pipeline under construction.
Prior to co-founding Rose Rock with his wife Marylee, Tim was Managing Director of William T. Strange & Associates Commercial Real Estate (Sperry Van Ness International). As a broker, he has been involved in over $1.2B in closed leasing and sale transactions over his career, and as an owner, general partner, and sponsor, in more than $265MM in assets acquired, redeveloped, or developed.
He holds the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member), SIOR (Society of Industrial & Office Realtors), and CPM (Certified Property Manager) designations, and earned a mechanical engineering degree from Southern Methodist University.
